One of the top things to see in Point Pleasant is the Riverfront Park. What’s wonderful about this park is that you can see the Manasquan River form it, and within the vicinity of the park you also have a Pavilion with a picnic area, a walking pier where you can take in the scenery, a bocce court, a playground for the kids, and the best part– an area with benches to watch the boats go by along  the river.

It is the perfect place to see in Point Pleasant and spend some time relaxing, and you can get a great view of Treasure Island along the walking path which has working out stations too.

Beaver Dam Creek County Park

Beaver Dam is another great park to go and see in Point Pleasant, it is a 40-acre park located on Bridge avenue with wetlands and some great sports facilities. The park has a really cool boardwalk where you can check out the tidal wetlands, a great photo opportunity.

Also, you never know what kinds of wildlife you might encounter along your walk. With each trail comes a different playground, and the nature trail brings you through the swampy areas where you can spot the wildlife. If you enjoy nature then this park is perfect for you, and you can also use the self-guided nature walk trail available online.

Once you’ve done your exploration of the park you can make a nice lunch using the charcoal grills and after play some tennis or basketball in the courts.

You can bring your kids to the playground, it has handicapped facilities, and a fishing pier. Lifeguards are on duty if you fancy going for a swim, and there is an admission fee during the summer.
