This beach-themed restaurant is one of the top places for food in Point Pleasant. A seafood restaurant with an extensive menu that includes tacos, burritos, and enchiladas but with a tropical twist and a cool Mexican/Californian vibe.
The food at Fins is sensational, with fresh produce and ingredients daily, Californian tomatoes for their speciality salsa, Alaskan cod, Australian flank steak, and much more. They ensure each meal is prepared and cooked to perfection.
Some of their specials on the menu include the Caribbean crab fritters accompanied by a spiced Tostones, blue corn chips and a delicious roasted red pepper sauce, the plantain taco – perfect for any vegans, the dorado burrito, and a selection of bowls such as the Mahi Mahi Rice bowl, and the Bulgogi Beef bowl, both under $15.
Woodchucks BBQ
This cool BBQ is the best in Point Pleasant if you are a meat lover. It is no wonder they were voted Best of the Best in Ocean County at the Reader’s Choice Contest in 2013. One of their specialities is the Bar-B-Cuban sandwich.
The best food for any first timers at Woodchucks has to be the onion bricks and the BBQ nachos with the hand cut fries. You must try the chicken wings which are prepared perfectly and cooked in their signature sauce, or the juicy beef brisket which sits in the smoker for eight hours. This food really showcases the soul of this restaurant.
Woodchucks also have a special Hot Dog Menu featuring foot long dogs.
Quarter House Restaurant
This is one of the top restaurants located on Arnold Avenue, Point Pleasant. This restaurant serves American cuisine with a particular focus on Louisiana speciality dishes. A great plus about going to this restaurant is that they do BYOB nights, so you can bring your favourite bottle of alcohol.
The Quarter House Restaurant opens for dinner Wednesday to Sunday every week. The dinner menu consists of appetizers from their Signature Charbroiled Oysters, to shrimp cocktail, and a Louisiana special – Fried green tomatoes, as well as a choice of soups and salads.
The selection of entrees ranges from a Creole Bolognese, to Jambalaya, a filet mignon, charbroiled oyster pasta, and much more to get your teeth into and enjoy a satisfying meal.
Shore House Bar & Grill
For a relaxed evening out with some great food and entertainment, head to the Shore House Bar and Grill in Point Pleasant, one of the tops restaurants to visit. There are daily specials on wine, beer and buckets, Sunday Funday events, DJ John C on in the late evening, and Industry Night Specials, all at the Shore House Bar and Grill.
The Shore House serves a wide range of food to suit everyone from soups and sandwiches to burgers and pizza. You will have the perfect cheat day at this restaurant. One of their specials you must try is a choice of their most popular sandwiches plus chips, a pickle, domestic draft and soup or chili for only $13.99 or less.
