“I had a pipe break in my house around the end of February this year. It was a pipe that led to a spicket outside. I called Proficient Plumbing & Heating and they were able to come to the house and fix the issue quickly. He said the pipe was frozen causing too much expansion. After the very cold winter we had he said this was a common problem.
I turned on the valve for the first time on 5/17 since the day it was repaired and the line started leaking again. I called the company again and said that I was having a problem with a water pipe that was previously serviced by the company. I asked for the same person to come back to the house to check out what happened.
Paul came to the house again and found that the piece he used to fix the pipe had broke. He was baffled because the piece was supposed to be nearly indestructible (phex pipe I think it’s called). He also found that another copper pipe had froze and broke sometime after the original pipe was serviced.
Paul fixed both pipes and didn’t charge me one penny for his time and labor. I was very grateful for his professionalism with the issue which is why I’m writing this review. I highly recommend this company!”

“Called Paul on Wednesday afternoon to take care of my sink drain that was leaking. He offered to come that afternoon. I told him it was no emergency, so he said he could be there the next morning. He was there right on time. Installed a new trap and drain to the double sink, did a very fast and clean job. “Upon returning from a fabulous 3 week vacation in Taiwan, holding our newest grandson was a wonderful reason for visiting there… EVERYONE in Taiwan has an “instant hot water” dispenser for getting hot water without heating water and waiting. After 3 weeks at home, we decided to purchase one and called Proficient Plumbing & Heating to install same.
Paul was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and concise. His installation technique was very detailed and direct. In less than 3 hours, we had piping hot water for tea, cup-o-soup, soup-broth granules, and all kinds of uses for instant hot water, dispensed right at the kitchen sink.
Last year, we wanted a tankless hot water heater and again called for Paul to do installation. We ordered the heater from a well-trusted online business and Paul and another tech installed same. In less than 7 hours (they had to actually change some of the gas pipes to accommodate the requirements of the tankless hot H2O heater) we had hot water for our showers, laundry and dishwasher uses. Efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly service is part of their work ethic.
