History of the Riverside Cafe
The Riverside Cafe has been family-owned since 1967. It began as a little store by the corner and was proudly named ‘’ Mike’s at the Inlet’’. It was a friendly little store and the meals were prepared by Mike, his wife Carmela Parziale, and their three children, Cheryl, Michael, and Karen.
In 1989, this little corner store was extensively remodeled and was renamed ‘’Riverside Cafe’’. Alongside its remodeling, the family restaurant expanded its services to accommodate banquet facilities for unique or special events, catering services that are done off the premises, and expanded outdoor seating.
There is also an added advantage of a panoramic view of the amazing Manasquan Inlet while customers enjoy their homemade meals. Every food is strictly prepared by a family member and there’s a proud hope for the next generation to keep serving the customers.
