The resort is located in Jackson, New Jersey. It is just a few minutes away from other great places such as Tip Tam Camping Resort, Colliers Mills Wildlife Management Area, Pine Barrens Golf Club, Jackson Skating Center Rollermagic, Indian Rock RV Park & Campground, and many more.
The resort features on-site entertainment and activities, swimming pools, game rooms, and playgrounds for children. Nature lovers can go out to fish in the small river near the park. Dogs and other pets are allowed at the campsite.
At the camping resort, everything you need is available for a thrilling vacation experience. A hundred or more sites offer full hookups or water and electricity with support of up to 30-50 Amps. The camping resort has other facilities like restrooms, showers, laundry rooms, and many more all for the comfort of the campers. The resort also provides a chance to observe and take pictures of the beautiful scenery and breathe in the aura around the park.
Planned activities are available all year round, activities include arts and crafts, games, music, and dance. Karaoke sessions are also organized. Bingo games, wet and wild weekends are also organized, other games include Freek dunk, tank and playground, a three-acre baseball field, basketball courts, and sand volleyball. Other activities include wagon rides, pig roasts, steak dinners, and breakfast.
Kids have fun on Saturdays with Miss Tara and Miss Kathy, crafts around the pool are the activity for the day and by Sunday the kids are treated to yummy ice creams and other sweets.
Every month has its own special event lineup, it is one of the unique features of the camping resort, for example, the month of May has:
- “All Mother’s day and weekend” on the 7th.
- On May 14, the “Appreciation of armed forces and Paintball” event is hosted. A paintball event is a special event organized as a thank you package to all military personnel. They can come to the resort on the designated day with their families and battle out their marksmanship with civilians. A 30% discount is given to all military personnel that shows their cards.
About the owner
The owner of Butterfly Camping Resort, Donald Letho died at the age of 67 on April 18, 2020, at his home. He was a co-owner for 27 years. He was born in the beautiful Atlantic City and lived in Egg Harbor Twp, NJ before he settled in Jackson Twp.
