In 1978, the Dimeo family left their home in Monte di Procida, Italy, and moved to New Jersey with the hopes and dreams of opening their own restaurant. In 1979, the dream became a reality as the family opened their first restaurant which turned out to be a success.
In 2009, Antonio decided it was time for the second generation to be birthed and that was when Antonio’s trattoria opened its doors. As of 2019, Antonio’s trattoria celebrated its 10 years anniversary. It has not been easy but over the course of the ten years, Antonio’s has continued to maintain the family tradition of hard work, patience, and good cooking.
