Sea Girt borough is recognized for its love and passion for education. The borough is concerned about the academic life of both its young and adult populace.
The Sea Girt Public Schools is a community public school district. It is located at 451 Bell Pl, Sea Girt. It is just minutes away from a great source of knowledge, the Sea Girt Library, and in the same area where we provide our best plumbing services.
It serves students from pre-kindergarten through their eighth grade. For students in the ninth to the twelfth grade Sea Girt public schools students, they attend Manasquan High school which has a symbiosis relationship with the Manasquan public school.
The Sea Girt Elementary School
The Sea Girt Elementary School is one out of the nine public schools that have been recognized and awarded the blue ribbon which is a national honor conferred on schools in the United States of America and the highest recognition award of its kind.
Sea Girt Elementary School is nicknamed the home of patriots. The school is focused on nurturing creativity and spiking the imagination of its students. It also believes in empowering its students with the knowledge skills and values they will need to critically think when faced with situations of any kind.
The students at Sea Girt Elementary School are also taught how to respect themselves and others, and how to go about not just their educational pursuit but also how to achieve and maximize their potentials in life.
The school has an office for student affairs which has a speech therapist, an occupational therapist, and a physical therapist. All professionals are provided for the well-being of the students. The curriculum units at the school range from the primary grade unit (3-5), pre-high grade units (6-8), and lastly the special area units.
The Sea Girt Elementary School is not only concerned about the educational part of its students alone, but it is also concerned about keeping its students balanced on other aspects too. The extra-curricular programs at the school are meant for this purpose. The activities include:
