Hunter Brook Horse Farm is a full-service equestrian facility situated at 672 Fort Plains Rd, Howell Township. It is a 50+ Acre farmland located in central New Jersey, Howell. Near the Howell Park Golf Course, ClimbZone, Bear Swamp Natural Area, Howell Township Library, Howell Ice Arena, Allaire State Park Campground and more great places!
The House Farm offers a variety of services which includes lessons, boarding, training, lay-ups, leasing, horse sales, birthday parties & summer camps. Some of the farm’s feature includes a brand new indoor arena, 1/2 mile track, outdoor arena, & grass jump course.
Whether you’re a beginner rider with no experience or an experienced rider wanting to improve your riding skills, there is a program for every level with knowledgeable staff. The Hunter Brook House Farm opens Sunday to Tuesday from 10 am – 5 pm.
Summer & Winter Camps
Hunter Brook Horse Farm offers comprehensive summer & winter riding programs planned for beginners through advanced riders. The program runs at weekly intervals. Partakers may attend programs in any combination. The campers are required to use only APPROVED SAFETY HELMETS which are available at the facility.
Program Features include:
- Daily Riding Lessons & Grooming Sessions
- Grazing, Braiding, Bathing & Clipping of Horses
- Games on Horseback
- Bareback Rides
These activities all lead to the Hunter Brook’s Camp Horse Show, on the last day of the program, where parents, family & friends Would be invited to see how much the campers have learned.

The Hunter Brook Horse Farm has an indoor heated lounge & indoor halls designed to accommodate parties or lessons at any time of year! Their unique birthday parties are a great means for your child & friend to combine their love of horses & one of the best days of the year to remember.
Horseback Riding Lessons
This is a Fun & Educational Riding Lessons organized by the Hunter Brook Horse Farm for kids in Monmouth County New Jersey! They have experienced staff to teach your kids riding techniques starting from the basics, safety skills & how to groom horses throughout horseback riding lessons.
There are several packages available to choose from:
- 30 minutes private horseback riding lesson
- 60 minutes private horseback riding lesson
- 45 minute semi-private horseback riding lessons
- 30 minutes pre-school horseback riding lesson
Safety-approved riding helmets & Gift certificates are made available for the lessons year-round.
