About The Spring Lake Theatre 

The Spring Lake Theatre is housed in a building known as the Spring Lake Community House. Other points of interest in the building include the Brown room and the Potter room, Upper Gallery, Spring Lake public library, the Spring Lake Theater Dance School.

The Spring Lake Community House is a non-profit 100-year-old structure located in the heart of Spring Lake, New Jersey.

Located on 300 Madison Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ 07762, the Spring Lake Theatre is a 350-seat performing arts theatre where six Broadway-quality productions are staged annually. For over thirty-five years, It has been home to the best performing arts program for children in the area.

The Spring Lake Theatre Company is well-known for producing Broadway-quality musicals, comedies, and dramas with professional casts, lavish sets and costumes, and show-stopping performances. Every season, the annual production of the Christmas classic “Scrooge” is a wonderful highlight, with families returning year after year to experience its unique magic and spirit of giving.

Programs at the Spring Lake Theatre includes;

  • A Theatre Workshop Program that enables children to excel in their strongest theatrical skills, such as dancing, singing, or acting, while also learning and growing in other aspects of theatre. This program provides children with professional-level training and provides them with opportunities to gain friendships, skills, and greater self-esteem.
  • A Dance School Program that allows students to learn ballet, modern dance, and other dance techniques from professional instructors and choreographers. This program admits students yearly and over a thousand children have graduated since its inception.

Summer productions at the Spring Lake Theatre are family-friendly and locals are invited to audition while visitors are invited to come and join in the fun.

Spring Lake Theatre is a quaint old-style community theatre in a beautifully restored building. Live orchestra, outstanding scenery, and the great staff are some of the highlights of the theater.
