About Boathouse Bar & Grill
Tim and Matt Harmon own the Boathouse Bar and Grill, which has been in operation since 1998. The original Boathouse Bar and Grill was located at 1401 Highway 71 in Belmar and was relocated in November 2000 to its current location at 1309 Main Street in Belmar. Major renovations have been done from time to time on rooms in the Boathouse, the gaming area even used to be the old dining room. Other additions include new French doors leading out to the patio, the upstairs offices, and the V.I.P. meeting room.
In a bid to make the Boathouse a modern hub, they have introduced about 30 flat-screen television sets in every corner of the Boathouse and 3 jumbo screens for better viewing pleasure.
Boathouse Bar & Grill is also a hub of activities because it is surrounded by Belmar Bike Shop, Wash-A-Shore Laundromat of Belmar, and Niki Maccanico’s Homemade Ice Cream.
Boathouse Bar & Grill offers a wide range of services which vary from foods such as chicken wings, burgers, pizzas, tacos, shrimps, pretzels, mushrooms, and celery to different variants of drinks from beer, spirits, wine, and cocktails. The bar also features live music, bar games, sports activities, and take-out services.
In all of these, Boathouse offers an option for private parties on its property which can be customized to your event type and taste. Options available include:
- Food packages selections can either be a Boathouse in-house menu or a suggested menu by the event host.
- Decoration options choices can be made by Boathouse decorators or other decorators you want.
- Music options can be by a DJ of your choice, We can also recommend different types of entertainment for you.
- Boathouse also features two bars and three separate dining rooms for your use. There is also a small area that can be closed off to accommodate small parties or meetings of up to eight people. There is an outdoor dining area that you can use when the weather permits. The Boathouse can only accommodate groups of 10 to 100 people.
Boathouse Bar and Grill stands out because of its unique ship-themed vibe. The spot has an outdoor deck with multiple bars and also possesses a wheelchair-accessible entrance. It is like being at the beachfront but in the downtown surrounded by many other shops which is really convenient.
